Bill Belson – photographer of Gods creation.

Born in England and grew up in Western Australia from the age of 3years I have learnt to love the outdoor life. Exploring the bush and being out in nature is the best therapy for me.

Capturing our beautiful native birds in lovely light takes a good deal of patience and persistence, but it's one of my great passions. I have spent many hours sitting in the Greenough River shallows with camera on tripod photographing the migratory birds and others that frequent our waterways.

Working with specialist Nikon macro lenses I get drawn into the fascinating close-up world of insects, flowers and bugs. The Chapman River Regional Park is one of my favorite places to go as it's right on our doorstep. Other places I frequent are Coalseam NR, Howatharra NR and Oakajee NR.
